Connecting to the Simulator

--Install the following--

FSTools.zip: Install by running setup.exe. Follow through the installation wizard.

XP11.FSToolsConnector.lua: Place it in your FlyWithLua scripts folder. FlyWithLua is required.

Once these are installed, just run your simulator and the main program and you're ready to roll.

Connecting a Flight Plan

Discord Presence will not display flight information without your simulator and a loaded flight plan.

To connect a flight plan manually:

1. Make sure any active flight plans are unloaded (indicated by red text next to the callsign input box).
2. Empty all callsign input boxes.
3. Fill in all input boxes in the rows above the Load, Unload, and Reset Flight buttons.
4. Click Load.

To connect a flight plan via VATSIM:

1. File (or pre-file) a flight plan on the VATSIM network.
2. Enter your callsign into the callsign input box.
3. Press enter (or click Load).

Resetting the Flight Stage

When one clicks the Reset Flight button, the flight stage and statuses will reset. Active flight plans will remain active.

Stages of Flight (v1.0.0r10+)

This is a list of flight stages that may appear on your Discord Presence (Skip from = stage can be accessed without passing through in-between stages):

Resetting Flight - Resetting your flight

Reviewing Charts (Not in Sim) - You are not connected to the simulator

Boarding - Aircraft hasn't moved since the last flight reset

Pushback - Aircraft is moving backward more than 1 knot

Taxi to Runway - Forward speed greater than 2 knots (Skip from Boarding)

Taxi back to Runway - Rejected Takeoff initiated and ground speed drops below 35 knots

Takeoff - Indicated speed greater than 50 knots (Skip from Boarding)

Rejected Takeoff - Takeoff stage initiated but indicated speed drops below 45 knots

Climbout - Altitude greater than 20ft AGL

Climb - Altitude greater than 750ft AGL or indicated altitude greater than 250ft below cruise altitude

Cruise - Indicated altitude greater than 1000ft below cruise altitude or altitude less than or equal to 500ft AGL and indicated altitude greater than 250ft below cruise altitude or distance left to destination less than 5nmi

Descent - Indicated altitude less than 1000ft below cruise altitude or altitude less than or equal to 500ft AGL and indicated altitude less than 250ft below cruise altitude or distance left to destination less than 5nmi

Approach - Distance left to destination less than 20 nmi

Final - Distance left to destination less than 10 nmi

Short Final - Distance left to destination less than 5 nmi

Touchdown - Plane touched the ground (Skip from Going Around)

Going Around - Aircraft flying away from airport for more than 5 seconds on Final or Short Final and distance left to airport less than 3nmi or aircraft touched the ground but stayed in the air for more than 7 seconds

Exiting Runway - Aircraft on ground for more than 7 seconds

Taxi to Stand - Ground speed less than 25 knots

Disembarking - Parking brake set
