From the cache assessment: /v1/cache/stats shows what the cache holds but not what it saves — no hit/miss counters, so TTL/size tuning and the actual value are guesswork in operation. Filed as Low; deliberately not fixed now per Joel. The per-put SUM(size) note is folded in as a same-surface cleanup.
