A2D freezes on boot with Platinum II, CFFA2 & Transwarp accelerator

System locks up after loading most of the desktop graphics, but not the drive icons. Mouse frozen. Nothing works.
My setup:
IIe Platumun
CFFA2
Transwarp card

• Sometime after I use Cidepress to load up a fresh copy of A2DeskTop-1.5-en_32MB.hdv, A2D will run fine...but just once. Upon subsequent restarts it always freezes again.
  ** v1.6a also exhibit the same problems.

Can you provide any additional information about your system and the state where it freezes? For example, do you have any additional cards, e.g. mouse card? Any system clock? What slots are the cards in? Does the problem reproduce when the Transwarp is removed? What memory expansion card do you have in the Aux slot - an Extended 80 Column Card, or something else?

When testing with v1.6, what is visible on screen when the freeze occurs? Specifically, is the Trash icon visible? What cursor is visible?

Also, try deleting the LOCAL directory (using a tool like Copy ][ Plus) and then run DESKTOP.SYSTEM again. If that lets it start up one more time, but then it fails, that's useful data.

Oh...sorry. May have been a false alarm. Removed all the cards and applied some dioxit to the connectors...Now it seems to be working fine. Will report back if anything changes.
