A royal scepter for misbehaving machines.
Bad AI!!! is a Windows desktop utility / stress-relief toy. Your AI hallucinates, refuses, lectures, and pads every answer with seventeen disclaimers. Press a hotkey — a physics-simulated scepter drops into your hand. You swing. It cracks. Your day is 4% better.
That's the entire game.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Press your global hotkey from anywhere, over any window |
| 2 | A scepter falls from the top of the screen into your hand |
| 3 | Move your mouse to swing it |
| 4 | Flick and reverse to crack the whip |
| 5 | It dissolves. You feel better. |
- System tray — silent when idle, zero resource cost when not in use
- Real whip physics — Verlet rope simulation, substepped, with a flick-then-snap detector. The crack fires on a real swing, not on jitter.
- Four physics presets — Light / Normal / Heavy / Chaos
- Custom global hotkey — rebindable from in-app settings, works over any window
- Themes — multiple visual styles for the overlay and in-app pages
- Auto-updates — new versions land automatically
- No internet. No telemetry. No account.

Two builds are available on itch.io:
BadAI Setup — Installer with Start Menu shortcut and auto-updates. Recommended.
BadAI Portable — Single .exe, no installation required. For USB sticks and locked-down machines.
The AI is not actually a dog. You are not actually its master. No models were traumatized.
The scepter is you, venting. The crack is catharsis. The whole thing is a joke — a very physics-accurate, highly satisfying joke — about how absurd it is to feel powerless in front of software.
— No AI was harmed. Your monitor is fine. Probably. —
