Claude.Cowork in Claude Desktop App on Linux

Hi guys,
great project and thank all contributors to bring Claude Desktop to Linux.

Under macOS and Windows Claude.Cowork is already available in the desktop app.
Is there any timeline to add it to the Linux desktop app?

I've got a basic version running from @chukfinley. A full VM version needs to be implemented to mirror macOS/Windows functionality though. This is just a patch direct to claude code essentially.

Quick update — cowork mode is fully implemented and enabled by default now. It supports three isolation backends:

• KVM (full VM, closest to macOS/Windows experience) — needs QEMU, /dev/kvm, vsock support
• bubblewrap (lightweight namespace sandbox) — needs bwrap
• host (no isolation, direct execution) — fallback

The best available backend is auto-detected at startup. Run claude-desktop --doctor to see which backend will be used and what dependencies you might be missing. Closing as this is implemented.
