Add Push Functionality

It would be great to have ...

• ... the possibility to push back sources to the repository
• ... some kind of staging view, where I can get a diff of my local vs remote sources.
• ... the option to include and exclude objects from the "commit"

I see that the Push feature is already merged. However, after updating the plugin in Eclipse, I don't see a staging view under abapGit repository. Am I missing something here?
I am trying abapGit against SCP ABAP runtime.
Please help.

plus I'm not sure when the update of the SCP ABAP backend is scheduled

Yes, that's correct it's not pushed to the update site yet.
It's planned to do this in conjunction with the upgrade to 1911 of SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment systems in CW46/47.
At the moment this feature couldn't be used with any SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment system.
