Typhoonminigen 1.0 (build 9) — a native macOS image generator for FLUX.2 Klein, running fully on-device on Apple Silicon via MLX. No Python, no ComfyUI, no server.

Download

Grab Typhoonminigen-1.0.zip below, unzip it to get Typhoonminigen.app, and move it to /Applications.

First launch (one-time Gatekeeper step)

This build is ad-hoc signed (no paid Apple Developer certificate yet), so macOS quarantines apps downloaded from the internet. Clear the flag once:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to/Typhoonminigen.app

Or: double-click → let macOS refuse → System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”. Locally built copies don't need this.

Requirements

  • Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer), macOS 14 or newer
  • 16 GB RAM for Klein 4B; 32 GB for Klein 9B
  • ~10 GB disk for 4B, ~28 GB for 9B

Models download on first use from your own Hugging Face account — nothing is bundled in the app. Full details in the README.
