This issue tracks the work to stabilize the 'gs * merge` class of commands.
Feel free to post feedback here if you use the experimental command.

Possible planned components:

• Show CI state during merge
• Allow configuring definition of "merge ready" (merge: Add configurable readiness and queue controls #1333)

Will this work if I'm using GitHub's merge queue as well? It doesn't have great support for stacked PRs, since only the base PR can be enqueued.

It might? I don’t have a merge queue to test with yet. If the GitHub merge API just puts a PR into the merge queue, it’ll work — merge timeout will need to be adjusted to account for merge queue time.

It will not put multiple stacked branches into the queue because GitHub doesn’t support that (yet). So it’ll wait for bottom most branch to merge, restack, resubmit, then enqueue the next one.

Looks like there's a separate command that needs to be used to put a PR in the queue. I'm using spice.merge.command to work with it.
