KASPERIA

Preserving the Spirit of Kashmir

To protect, promote, preserve and revitalize the Koshur ethnic and socio-cultural heritage, safeguarding the voices, traditions, and knowledge systems that define the Kashmiri identity.

Kasperia exists to ensure that the stories, art, languages, and ways of life that shaped the valley endure, not as memories, but as living legacies.

Objectives

  • Cultural Preservation: Digitally archive Kashmiri manuscripts, art, oral histories, music, and literature.
  • Language Protection: Document and promote the Kashmiri (Koshur) language through open-source linguistic resources and community contributions.

Archival Principles

Kasperia Archives operates under fair-dealing and educational preservation principles.
All archived materials remain the property of their respective creators unless explicitly stated otherwise.

“To remember is to resist erasure.”

We archive ethically — documenting with respect, attributing every voice, and protecting every trace of memory.
