Revisions

  • Update for release 2.1.0-beta.2 * Version references moved from 2.1.0-beta.1 to 2.1.0-beta.2 on Home and the HA 2026.09 Development Branch page; beta.1 is kept in the compatibility table as superseded. * New section "Fixed in 2.1.0-beta.2 -- arming" documenting the arming fix and the Arm Sequence option (command_then_keypad / command_only), with the wire sequences and where to switch it. * SDD: arm_sequence added to the entry.data table, a new section 3.6 covering the arm sequence, and the entity table now points at it. * Developer guide: the arming snippet is now the shared _async_arm() helper instead of the pre-beta.1 code, plus the note that the trailing E is the ENTER key and that the line is identical to what disarm() sends. * Home: troubleshooting entry for "Arming does nothing"; the global unique-id limitation is attributed to the 2.1.x line rather than a fixed version. * Known limitations: corrected the async_step_import wording -- it does not exist at all, since there is no CONFIG_SCHEMA.
