GlossPress 1.2.2

GlossPress 1.2.2 is the first release prepared for the WordPress.org plugin directory. The plugin is now named GlossPress.

What changed:

• REST endpoints now check permissions, and the admin editor has been rebuilt on core block components.
• The plugin requires WordPress 6.6 and PHP 7.4, and shows an admin notice instead of loading on older versions.
• Added a GPL licence file, a readme.txt, documentation and screenshots.
• Added REST permission, multisite isolation and REST URL tests.

Installation: download acemedia-glossary-1.2.2.zip below and upload it in WordPress under Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. The folder name stays acemedia-glossary, so existing installations update in place.

Verification, as run on 20 October 2026: the REST permission suite passed on WordPress 7.1.3 with PHP 8.4 and on WordPress 6.6 with PHP 7.4, and Plugin Check reported no errors and 47 reviewed warnings. These were automated runs, not a claim that every theme or plugin combination has been tested.

First tagged release of AceMedia Glossary, version 1.2.1.
