Add ability to show if tests are passing to PR description #217

Description

@tobewisebeforeiamold

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

My feature request is just that; a feature request and not a bug.

Describe the solution you'd like

I didn't see this in your documentation, but what I'd LOVE to be able to do is, after a Github Action runs as a result of a push or a PR open, add something to the PR description indicating if the Action was successful or not.

  • I see how to add comments to github.issues, but not how to reference the "thing" that triggered the Action.
  • I also see how to add a comment, but not how to edit a PR description.

Essentially what the ideal end result would be is somethign like those badges we sometimes see in a repo's README.md indicating if a build is passing. So, say opening a PR kicks off some Cypress tests, it would be rad to be able to show on the PR itself if all of those tests passed.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I'm new to the Github Actions game, so I don't know what I don't know, including where to search for something like what I describe or where to learn how to wrote my own solution. Plus, it's a "nice to have" feature that saves time but is non-blocking, so I am not able to put a lot of time into researching this. So any advice you might be able to offer would be very welcome!

Additional context

Again, this is a non-blocking, non-bug, feature request that is purely "nice to have". but I think it'd be pretty awesome and possibly popular as well. Maybe that popularity showering down on you would finally entice that cute person you've been crushing on to kiss you. ;)
