Remove unnecessary base CSS styles

These were copied from Flowbite initially but intended to remove before release. Since we still had styling changes to complete with dark mode, I did a beta release so we can address this over time. Most of the dark mode styles are with form controls which remain in the base and for now will stay there. Those updates are next.
