New Beta reset

Unfortunately I already updated to the latest HA 2026.2 before this update came out. All of my kids show 0 points now.
I am following your release guide for the recommended fix so I uninstalled the integration, restarted HA and adding it back in.

The part where it says to use existing data never shows up and I'm afraid to go any further in risk of losing my points data. When adding the integration it goes through all the normal questions and asks to setup each kid. It shouldn't be asking this is I'm re-using existing data.

Can you take a look into this please?

Did you get this resolved? If not, open an issue and do a diagnostic download and we’ll get it figured out.

No but I restored to the previous HA 2026.1.1 and the points came back. I then upgraded to 0.5.0.b3 w/o upgrading HA and again lost them.

So any existing user who upgrades straight to your latest beta will likely break as well.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. This is the compatibility issue we found with ha 2026.2.

The release notes and the related issues have been updated with guidance on how to restore. In the end, the points aren't lost, but the migration of the file doesn't complete on initial upgrade, so it does appear to be gone.

Thanks for reporting, I have a beta 4 to come out in the next day or 2 that I think will effectively work around that incompatibility for others upgrading from less than beta 3.

YW. I just tried going through all the versions upto b3. It was good until I hit b3, then looking at any of my kids and the screen was full of red boxes that said 'configuration error'. I restored again will wait until you have a final release before trying again. 2026.2 broke my IR integration as well so I'll be staying on 2026.1.1 for the time being.
