Thank you and how to keep Woxi going

Woxi has come a long way: ~3000 implemented Wolfram Language functions, 866 GitHub stars, a native notebook editor (Woxi Studio), a browser playground, a JupyterLite kernel, a Python package on PyPI, and an npm package.

A lot of that progress was driven by the people who filed issues, reported divergences from wolframscript, and opened PRs.

Supporting continued development

Woxi's goal is a complete open source implementation of the Wolfram Language. A foundational tool like a language implementation should be freely available to everyone!

However, Woxi's continued development requires funding. Since Woxi is free, sponsorships are the only way to sustain it. A single Mathematica license costs several hundred dollars per year and if Woxi already replaces part of that cost for you, consider passing on a fraction of the savings. Concretely, the next milestones are:

• Adding missing features and improving conformance
  I want every Notebook from https://demonstrations.wolfram.com to work with Woxi Studio.
• Performance
  There should be no cases where Woxi is substantially slower than Mathematica.
• Tutorials
  Since Woxi can run in the browser, it opens the possibility for highly interactive Wolfram Language tutorials that were not possible before.
