It turns out that there were 2 issues with the way I attempted to use the skip file for the screenshot.
.circuitpython.skip-screenshotThis PR resolves the 1st issue, and I've opened circuitpython/CircuitPython_Library_Screenshot_Maker#11 to resolve the other. There are screenshots included over there that show the before/after project files images.
