Fruit Jam build from main fails to boot after PR #11014

On a Fruit Jam CircuitPython fails to fully boot using adafruit-circuitpython-adafruit_fruit_jam-en_US-20260519-main-PR11014-53b191a.uf2 after #11014 was merged

The NeoPixels come on yellow and stay on (during normal boot they would blink a few times).

The PC does not see CIRCUITPY/CPSAVES or any serial connections.

The prior build from s3 adafruit-circuitpython-adafruit_fruit_jam-en_US-20260519-main-PR11011-b295ac4.uf2 boots successfully.

Same behavior on Feather RP2350. Build that includes 11014 is no boot / stuck on yellow NeoPixel, builds before boot normally.

I tested Feather RP2040 and it does not suffer from the same issue. Seems to be 2350 specific.
