SRE, Content Creator & Best Life Advocate
I'm a site reliability engineer and content creator on across several platforms, including YouTube and TikTok. I build projects here that help develop my skills as an SRE as well as use for examples by others looking to develop their skills. I have worked in both the insurance and travel sector for some of the largest companies in the industry leading projects such as monitoring tool migration, cloud cost optimisation, cloud security and automation as well as SLO and SLI generation and implementation.
Here are some of the tools and languages I have experience with and use in projects:
I am currently working on an content creator assistant web application. The application is integrated with OpenAI API to aid in generating ideas and the copy that accompanies long form and short form content.
The application in version 1 is being deployed in AWS in an event driven architecture leveraging the following AWS Services:
- Lambda
- The node.js backend runs on Lambda when invoked.
- API Gateway
- A public api craeted in API Gateway connects the application frontend and the backend
- S3
- The React frontend is served to users via a S3 bucket with static webiste hosting enabled.
Subsequent versions of this application will include increased functionality, login and storage capabilities as well as improved hosting architecture.
