Can I diff two .mcptrace files?

I want to compare a known-good trace against a failing one to see what changed.

Yes — mcp-devtools diff baseline.mcptrace current.mcptrace. It walks both traces frame-by-frame and reports frame-count drift, direction mismatches, method differences, error-flag toggles, and body diffs with frame-indexed output. Exit code is 0 if the traces are identical and 1 otherwise, which makes it useful in CI.
