Connection reliability + quality-of-life fixes, Garage and dash-map fixes
🔓 No more sign-in screen every launch
- Once you've signed in or tapped Continue without signing in, the app now opens
straight to your dashboard on every launch — the login screen won't keep reappearing. - Signing out brings the login screen back, as expected.
🔌 Connecting to the dash is far more reliable
- Connects on the first try. The app now waits for your dash to actually appear in a
fresh WiFi scan before asking Android to join it — fixing the "fails 2–3 times, then
works" pairing. If the first association still misses, it auto-retries silently instead
of making you tap again. - New "Finding your dash…" status while it locates your dash.
- If the link drops, the session now tears down cleanly instead of getting stuck.
⚡ Instant zoom on the dash
- Zooming in/out on the dash map is now instant — it scales what's already on screen
and sharpens as the new tiles load, instead of going blank while they fetch.
🗺️ Smoother map on the dash
- Retuned the stream to the dash decoder's real ceiling — fixes the brief pixelation.
- Fixed the "braking slows the map down" effect.
📏 More accurate ride tracking
- Tighter ride distance, and the odometer auto-increments after every ride.
🛠️ Garage, rebuilt
- Visit-based service logging: one entry covers everything done in a visit — tick
multiple items, mark it Company or DIY, set odometer + cost, attach the invoice. - Free-service tracker: the 4 scheduled RE services (500 / 5,000 / 10,000 / 15,000 km).
- Maintenance intervals respect km or months, with due reminders.
🧰 Glovebox vault
- Store insurance / PUC / RC / licence / warranty / RSA docs and get expiry
reminders before they lapse. Plus a bike-identity card and a manual specs reference.
🔄 Automatic updates
- The app now checks for new releases on launch and offers a one-tap in-app update
🟢 Accurate connection status
- Fixed the dash view being stuck on "Pairing / Securing the link" even though the map
was already live — it now shows LIVE as soon as streaming starts.
▶️ Connect straight from Home
- New Connect to dash button on the home screen — connect (or disconnect) in one tap
without opening the dash view first.
Install / update
Sideload the APK below (allow "install unknown apps"). Signed with the same key as before,
so it updates in place — your rides and Garage data are kept.
Auto-updates: if you're on 1.1+, the app prompts you in-app. You can also track this repo
in Obtainium for update notifications.
Community build — not affiliated with Royal Enfield. Verified on dash firmware 11.63;
other firmwares may differ.
