Track elevations

Still loving this app!
While watching the Austrian race, before the start when they are providing an overview of the track, I thought it would be really cool if your app could also display the elevation view (as an option as not everyone may want it). When watching a race, it's difficult to get a feel for when the cars are coming down or going up a rise, which of course greatly affects the dynamics. This would be very cool.

From the same pre-race track overview, a 2nd idea: add the marker for the overtake sensor location, and perhaps the active aero zones as well (again as options).

All of these are static info.

Hey, thanks for the great suggestions. In the latest version have added track elevations (off by default, turn on in settings>track map). Needs to recompute for any session it's already downloaded. Will be great for Spa.

Unfortunately it doesn't look liek any available data from FastF1 or Multiviewer for straight-mode/active aero or overtake detection point so can't add those yet.

I updated to the latest image and I can see the other change you made with the green dot for sessions that have been processed, but I don't see an elevation setting under track map.

If you're seeing the green dot it's definitely the latest version with elevation. Is the option showing at all under settings?

If the setting toggle is there but the elevation isn't showing on the track map it may be the session needs reprocessing. The new elevation info is pulled from the session data, so it needs to reprocess for previously downloaded and processed sessions. You can currently reprocess a session by running (change variables as needed):

docker compose exec f1timing python precompute.py 2026 --round 8 --session R

Have added a simpler UI right-click context menu for each session to run the preprocessing in v2.1.1 to make it easier.

I reprocessed with the new context menu command and it worked after I refreshed my browser (Ctrl F5). I appreciate how you implemented it. The shading is intuitive without being noisy. Thanks again!
