Backend engineer focused on building tools that make developer workflows less painful. I spend most of my time writing Python, with some Go and shell scripting mixed in.
- Python — primary language, used for everything from quick scripts to production services
- Go — for CLI tools and anything where a single binary is convenient
- Shell — glue code, automation, the usual
- Docker / Linux — daily environment
Mostly CLI tools and internal automation — things that shave time off repetitive tasks or make CI/CD pipelines less of a headache. Occasional side projects in the devops/platform space.
- Exploring more Go for tooling projects
- Getting deeper into observability and tracing for backend services
