have applets form 2 (or more) columns in the applet panel

I use a dedicated monitor for AetherSDR Windows version. I have found that if I pop out the applet panel I can make it as wide as I want, but the applets stay in a single vertical row, often disappearing off the bottom of the screen, while the rest of the window is blank. My suggestion is for the applets to form columns as the window is made wider, using that extra width, thereby providing the ability to see all the active applets on the screen at the same time.

The same thing happens to me, but a black screen opens in the center—it only happens if I tap any of the options on the panel.

I would like to be able to place it horizontally on the bottom of the screen. There is more room horizontally than vertically.
