Cw audio withe PC audio ON

If I activate PC audio and transmit in CW I don't hear the transmission audio note.

Make sure you have sidetone activated and some volume.

PC audio I mean the control in the top right. When I transmit in CW I don't hear my transmit tone. The sidetone is set high.

Where is your CW key connected?

If it is in the back of the radio, the sidetone only comes out of the radio speaker (latency would be too great to send back to the PC). To get PC CW sidetone, you have to use the keyer in the PC (AetherSDR) with the key connected via a MIDI or Serial interface.

To be able to send CW correctly, the sidetone must be generated where the key is connected, otherwise the latency of the network connection means you can't hear the correct timing of your sending.

Yes that's why you can't hear it on the PC audio, it is by design that way by Flex as the latency would make it too difficult to send, unless you were sending very QRS hi.

Good question, I don't know as my Flex is in my garage and I only operate it remote. Hopefully someone else can answer for you.
