Band Stacking Registers

Per-band save/recall is here. When you switch bands using the spectrum overlay, AetherSDR remembers your last settings and restores them when you come back.

Saved per band: frequency, mode, AGC mode + threshold, RX/TX antenna, squelch, step size, all DSP flags (NR, NB, ANF, NRL, NRS, RNN, NRF, ANFL, ANFT, APF, NR2, RN2), pan bandwidth (zoom), and dBm scale.

First visit to a band uses the static default. Subsequent visits recall your last settings. Settings persist across restarts.

Multi-Pan Improvements

  • Per-pan band change — each pan's band buttons now target the correct slice, not the global active slice
  • Pan recenters on band change — FFT/waterfall follows the VFO when switching bands across pans
  • Correct slice labels — each pan shows the right slice letter (A, B, C, D)
  • Cross-band save guard — prevents frequency contamination between bands in multi-pan mode
  • Widget cleanup on pan removal — prevents crashes when reducing pan layouts

Per-Slice Step Size

The radio sends per-slice step sizes and step lists (different for CW vs SSB vs digital). AetherSDR now parses these and syncs the RX applet stepper when switching between slices. The correct step list is shown per mode.

New Features

  • Frequency auto-calibration — Radio Setup → RX tab: Cal Frequency field + Start button + Offset display
  • Keyboard shortcuts — View → Keyboard Shortcuts (off by default): arrow keys, step cycle, PTT, mute, tune lock
  • DX spot display — spots from external tools (FlexSpots, N1MM, etc.) appear as clickable labels on the panadapter
  • Spot click-to-tune — click a spot label to tune to that frequency
  • Spot settings — Settings → Spots: enable/disable, font size, max stacking levels, color overrides

  • Fix filter polarity on session restore (wrong-side passband for DIGU/USB)
