Quick post on how ECC sponsorship works, because I get this question often enough to formalize.

Why sponsor ECC:

• The OSS layer (this repo, AgentShield, install scripts, the full skills library) stays MIT-licensed forever. Sponsors are what makes that possible.
• Weekly releases happen because this is funded work, not nights-and-weekends.
• No acquisition pressure, no enshittification, no rug pulls.

Tiers (effective May 2026):

🛠️ Builder	$25	Active users who want their name in SPONSORS.md
⚡ Pro Sponsor	$50	Power users who want a quarterly roadmap vote
👥 Team	$200	Teams of 5 that want 5 ECC Pro seats included
🏢 Business	$500	Companies that want a featured logo + integration coordination
🚀 Enterprise	$2,500	Enterprises that need founder time, SLA, dedicated channel

Existing sponsors are grandfathered — your current price and perks stay until you upgrade voluntarily. The refresh applies to new sponsors only.
