How to implement a tool_search_tool in Agno?

I want to implement a tool_search function in Agno, but I cannot dynamically change the request parameters. The core issue I think is that Agno lacks sufficient hooks, similar to the middleware in deepagent.

not sure about this one tbh, might be worth checking if there's a plugin or extension system in agno that could help. if it's like deepagent, maybe there's something similar you can use.

Did you open a feature request or somthing for this ?

i wanted to know is there a way of passing in the tool dynamically based on the users intent - the probelem i face is that if i intialize the agent statically with the a set number of tools - all of them goes to the LLM right (if its a model like Open AI 4.1 and all a upper limit on tol is the 128 - so either we had to break down to small , small Agents for this purpose BUT this later introduced LATENCY as two set of routing needed We did like from team to subteam (each in a specific set of domain) and each domain related tools are grouped manually and exposed and we used to connect to it - But the two time delegation became an overhead.)

So i also had thought about the idea of having a tool_search tool that can have access to the tool registry and only pick and expose those tools WHICH are fundementally necessary FOR THE Agent , instead of statcally bloating the agent tools at startup with 128 plus tools only the required tool should go to LLM based on the users reques right ; IS SOMEONE from agno already on it

I also had seen a dynamic tools idea in the docs of agno - can i make use of it somehow fir the same- Is that even a possibility - But how can i know from the usrs intent which tools are to be given in that agents tools

I haven't opened a feature request. For passing tools dynamically, consider implementing a middleware that intercepts user intents and selects tools accordingly before sending to the LLM, which could help manage the tool limit and reduce latency.
