Truffle 0.4.0: debug test prerelease

Truffle's Android companion gets a clearer walking notebook and fresh movement
reactions. The embedded world now uses continuous food and server-created ASCII
gifts.

• Walk: Today, 7 days and 30 days show matching totals, dates and coverage.
  Missing native records stay blank; recorded zero stays distinct. Large text
  and long totals remain readable with scrolling.
• World: Fresh direct-counter steps can change the verified pet's expression
  while World is visible. The reaction itself adds no food. Reload World creates
  a fresh document while retaining the native owner and connection settings.
• Food: Stored food carries into tomorrow, with continuous upkeep and a
  bounded reserve. Heat shelter pauses upkeep and the empty-food clock.
• Gifts and conversation: Accepted away plans can produce procedural ASCII
  gifts through server alarms, with no model call or food charge. Everyday and
  Think deeper controls make conversation effort explicit. The sample demo
  labels its authored replies and simulated charges.

The APK requires Android 9 or newer. Pause direct counting before upgrading,
install over the existing app signed with the same key to retain its pet and
diary, then resume explicitly from Walk. See the Android setup guide.

Built on the workstation from 0a3c56c6d1c7ddfbfc0873560142e66ab2bf75bb.
Android app and build inputs are unchanged at integration checkpoint
d8a51ed. The build passed 129 JVM tests; lint reported 0 errors and 69 warnings.
The installed emulator artifact matches this checksum. Three synthetic emulator
reloads created distinct WebViews and retained the fixture's native settings.

Limits: Version 0.4 has not been tested on a physical phone. The synthetic
reload check did not authenticate a real Truffle owner. The historical 81-step
Samsung observation belongs to version 0.3. Step accuracy, battery/endurance,
notification delivery and physical accessibility remain unverified. Away gifts
are best effort, and faster live inference has not been measured for this
update. No paid inference was used for these release checks.

Truffle 0.3.0 (Android test build)

An Android test build of Truffle: a small ASCII mushroom companion fed by your steps.

• Optional phone step counting independent of Samsung Health, with Health Connect as an alternative. One source feeds at a time.
• Revised Walk notebook with fixed-cell ASCII charts and clear coverage labels.
• Full-width expressive world, conversation beneath it, Pocket tools and clickable return keepsakes served by the live web app.
• Quiet companion reminders start off. Tracking uses its own silent foreground-service notification.
• Midnight/source accounting and native World ownership/retry fixes.

Download truffle-0.3.0-debug.apk below. Install over an existing build to retain its private settings; this is a debug-signed sideload test build, not a Play Store release. Setup.

Verified on Samsung SM-A366B: direct counter recorded 81 steps, the server accepted 81 steps and 81 energy, a repeated feed did not double-credit, and the installed World showed the chosen pet. The walk was not manually counted, so this is not an accuracy result. A short Samsung Chrome sample showed 60 fps. Sustained performance, overnight endurance and battery use remain unmeasured.
