Hi everyone π
I just wanted to share a small win, because a year ago I'd have told you it was impossible: our Adobe AIR app is now live on the Mac App Store β including TestFlight β running alongside the iOS and Android builds, all from the same codebase. On AIR. In 2026. πΎ
I'm posting partly to say thank you to HARMAN and this community for keeping AIR not just breathing but genuinely capable β and partly to offer a hand, because getting there meant solving a few things that aren't written down anywhere.
If any of this sounds painfully familiar:
"β¦is missing a provisioning profile β¦ not eligible for TestFlight" π©
codesign / notarization rejecting the bundle over leftover Flash-era files
the signature that just won't validate no matter how you --deep it
and if you're shipping through Xcode, the upload step throwing its own curveballs on top of all that
β¦then you've fought the same dragons I did. The good news: every one of them is solvable, and it's now a clean, repeatable, one-command process for us. I've written it up as a proper pipeline. If you're blocked on shipping an AIR app to the Mac App Store, reach out β happy to point you in the right direction.
AIR still has road ahead of it. Glad to be building on it β and glad to help others do the same.
