HOWTO: Pulp import Redhat channels

Howto import Redhat subscription channels to symphony-repo

• Register symphony-repo to receive channels

• Login to rhn with your account username and password

• Navigate to Subscriptions -> Subscription management -> Register a unit

• Register your symphony-repo as a unit

• Once registered you will be able to attach the subscriptions required to the symphony-repo unit

• Download identity certificate

• Login to rhn with your account username and password

• Navigate to Subscriptions -> Subscription management -> Units

• Select the symphony-repo unit

• Navigate to the 'Entitlement certificate' column for the subscription required and click 'Download'

• Import subscribed RH channels

• Copy the certificate 'pem' file to your symphony-repo server and save to /etc/pulp/rhel.pem

• Run the repo imported or create pulp repos manually
