1. Welcome to the Selectify wiki!

Context

Last September, I began listening to albums on a regular basis, and each time I found an album I was interested in or had one recommended to me by a friend, I would add it to my saved albums list on Spotify. Very quickly, this list grew to a point that I could not keep up with it. By November there was so many saved to my list that choosing which album I wanted to listen to became a very hard choice. So, I thought to myself, "what if I remove the stress of deciding, and just have a computer do it for me?". And that's where the idea of Selectify came from.

My plan during Summer break this year (2023), was to teach myself Python and to hopefully get a better general understanding of software development. After completing a couple of mini-projects, I decided I wanted a bigger challenge and to attempt a full-stack project that would not only be useful to myself, but to others as well. Still having the same problem since November, I decided to try to create Selectify.
