NIVA Guard 2.6.4

Update for the WordPress.org review: file locations come from WordPress functions, 404 page template is a separate file, log folder moved to uploads/niva-guard, new WP Rocket rules, neutral ParsiDate wording, cleaner admin menu titles. Includes 2.6.3 changes.

NIVA Guard 2.6.2

Translation files are no longer bundled; translations will come from translate.wordpress.org. Install: download niva-guard-2.6.2.zip (not 'Source code') and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Source .po/.pot files are in the translations/ folder of the repository.

NIVA Guard 2.6.1

Security hardening: notice keywords are passed to the inline script with the JSON_HEX_* flags. Install: download niva-guard-2.6.1.zip (not 'Source code') and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

NIVA Guard 2.6.0

Renamed to NIVA Guard (folder and text domain niva-guard) so it can be listed on WordPress.org.

Install: download niva-guard-2.6.0.zip (not 'Source code') and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. If an older 'niva-wp-guard' copy is active, deactivate it first; settings are shared and kept.

Changes

• New name and slug: NIVA Guard / niva-guard.
• mu-plugin files are now named niva-guard-*.php; the old ones are removed automatically.
• Plugin Check clean-up (input sanitising, no raw third-party addresses in code).
• Code comments are in English.

NIVA WP Guard 2.5.1

Install: download niva-wp-guard-2.5.1.zip (not 'Source code') and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Settings are kept when upgrading.

Changes

• The 'hide menu items' list now includes menus other plugins add very late (for example WP-Parsidate).
• Cron card: full crontab line with the schedule, 'Copy command only' for the cPanel form, more command variants (cPanel, CloudLinux, DirectAdmin, Plesk, WP-CLI, wget, curl) and intervals up to 6 hours.
• Neutral wording in the circuit breaker description; vip-themes.com is shown as 'VIP Theme'.
• Packaging: the installable zip contains only the plugin files.

Install: download niva-wp-guard-2.5.0.zip and upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Highlights

• Disable the built-in WP-Cron and get a ready cron line for cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, WP-CLI, wget or curl, matched to your PHP version (1 minute to 6 hours).
• Cron activity: last successful run, last failed run, how it was started and the next scheduled task.
• Fixes: admin menu items added late by other plugins (e.g. WP-Parsidate) can now be hidden.
• Nine admin languages with full RTL/LTR support.
