FINGERPRINT ICON NOT POPPING UP

Suddenly just yesterday my fingerprint stopped popping up to unlock apps and even sometimes the pattern takes a while to load up. I know my phone just went theough a UI update a few days ago. Please help

I'll second this, I was using an older version and updated manually, now I can only use the pattern. I've tried un-toggling and re-toggling all the settings I could, it's like it's just gone. S25 OneUI 8.0.

I face the same issue! The biometrics only work when you open the applock, otherwise it won't work. Also the pattern takes forever to be visible, and the home button/gesture doesn't work in the applock overlay interface now. I recently updated the app, and this is a bug with newer version.
