Feedback component is now in Trial: share your research

We’ve introduced a new ‘Trial’ version of the Feedback component. We separated the feedback link from the phase banner into a standalone component. We want to understand whether this improves feedback rates.

To move this component out of ‘Trial’ status to become a stable component, we need your feedback. Please tell us about your experiences and research using this component in your service.

In particular, we want to know:

• How your service was previously collecting feedback.
• Your method of collecting feedback (e.g. form, survey).
• The proportion (%) of users who clicked on the link to your chosen feedback form before and after you switched to the new component.
• The proportion (%) of users who gave feedback before and after you switched to the new component.
• Any changes you made to the link text.
• Any impacts on user experience, the quality or relevance of feedback.

Any information you can provide is helpful. Please provide raw numbers if you can (i.e. number of users who clicked through and/or gave feedback out of the number who visited the page or service overall during the time period).

The Design System team will continue to review and consider your feedback as we iterate on this component. We expect to move the component to stable status by February 2027 and welcome any further feedback to inform that decision.
