When pulling images from Public ECR (host: public.ecr.aws), if the required AWS environment variables are configured, the system will attempt to authenticate with the registry before initiating the pull. If authentication fails, the image will be pulled as an unauthenticated user. Successful authentication increases the rate limit from 1 request per second to 10 requests per second.
