Visual glitch with predictive back gesture

Description:
When using the predictive back gesture (introduced in Android 14, mandatory for apps targeting Android 16), a visual glitch occurs. During the back animation, the screen displays flickering, tearing, or other visual artifacts. The issue is shown in the attached video.

Incidentally I could only reproduce this when going back from a narrowed view. Every other route I tried seems to disallow predictive back.

Thank you for the clarification. Is there a plan to add full support for the predictive back gesture across the entire app in the future (including views where it currently doesn't work)? Or is the current inconsistent behavior intentional?

I'm not intentionally disallowing predictive back at these spots. I didn't look at the Flutter source code, so my best guess is that it's expected Material Design behavior to not allow predictive back at the "bottom" of a modal route. If that's the case, then I'm not going to go out of my way to override that.

If it's a bug, on the other hand, then I am open to fixing it, but I don't see any evidence for that interpretation right now.

Experimentally, setting fullscreenDialog: false for the document route does allow one to predictively back from it:

However, semantically we do want the document route to be a fullscreen dialog, so I won't be changing this value.
