Currently, CBXP can only extract and format control blocks from live memory, but this limits what CBXP can be used for.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow user provided control block data to be provided to CBXP for formatting. In this case, the user may extract control blocks themselves from sources other than live memory, and just use CBXP to format the raw data.
Describe alternatives you've considered
We were considering adding support for extracting control blocks from dump data sets and files as described in #3, but after investigating this further, it is probably more practical to allow users to provide raw control block one at a time to CBXP for formatting.
