1.4.3-RC1

This the first candidate for the 1.4.3 release. For users of the Stories experience, please take note of the changelog because the feature is being removed from the plugin!

• ⚠️ Hide the Stories experience. It remains available for sites that have Story posts created, but for others it is hidden. In both cases a notice is displayed on the appropriate screens. The Stories experience was a beta feature; it is being split into a separate standalone plugin which will be available for installation soon. Please export your Stories before upgrading to the next version (v1.5), as the Stories will no longer be accessible in the AMP plugin since the feature is being removed. #4201, #4202, #4219, #4258
• Restrict Stories editor to WordPress 5.3 or Gutenberg ≥6.6.0 and ≤7.1.0 since it is no longer working in the latest version of Gutenberg. #4200, #4217
• Fix embedding Instagram TV URLs, aligning the regex pattern with what is used in WordPress core. #4040, #4053
• Improve embedding of Vimeo videos in additional URL formats. #4046, #4051
• Prevent WordPress.tv embeds from raising validation errors when used in the Classic Editor. #4130, #4164
• Prevent PHP warning when checking if a script/style depends on the admin bar. #4145, #4207
