Time Picker - Disable Default Time Value

By default, the time picker picks the value closest to the operating system timezone. How do I disable this?

Especially "older" users will think a time is already selected (since it is highlighted), so I would like to disable highlighting of a "default" value as well...

Tried this, but no luck:

I solved my problem by remove the css style after rendered, and it works.

$('#picker').pickatime({
      //disable default highlight
      onRender: function() {
           $('ul.picker__list li').removeClass('picker__list-item--highlighted');
      }
});
