Hi. Here's a vector image I created of one of my favorite icon designs from the project, in case you want to use it for anything.

While the aMule icon is based on the same mascot, the current one has its own established brand identity. Thanks for the suggestion, we'll likely keep the existing icon rather than swap it out.

Hi again, I didn't suggest swap out the current icon; I only offered it, in case someone wanted to use that SVG version of one of the well-known icons commonly used in the eMule project environment somewhere in the app or on the website. I've always liked how the mascot looked in the small icon that appears in the application's favicon, and I wanted to have it in vector format, so I made it. I also like using it as the software icon in Linux.

@jusore, if you're comfortable working with SVG, we could use a hand updating the aMule logo.

It's not perfect, but it could serve as a starting point.

Yes, we already have a new SVG logo thanks to @adem4ik.

It is used everywhere now: the splash screen, the About dialog and the systray icon, as well as on the website for both the logo and the favicon.

@jusore I made that one because I wanted to improve the old logo, and with some help from SVGGenie AI and my modest Inkscape skills, it was quite doable.

You're welcome to improve it further — it's an open-source project after all. However, I'd suggest posting your version in the issue thread first to get feedback from the development team: amule-org/amule-org.github.io#156.

If the team likes it, the next steps would be similar to these PRs:

• Update vector logo and render icons from it #1241
• Update SVG logo, favicons and social-card amule-org.github.io#205

Cool, thanks @adem4ik for the info and links. I'll work in a SVG version closest to the old biptmap version look, and then I'll post in the issue thread to get feedback from the development team, as you said. I'll work on that.
