Post Compo version 1
This fixes a lot of the glaring issues that I've found now after the compo.
Major things include;
- The camera ended up lagging a lot more behind on lower FPS, making the game unplayable.
- Collision with boxes was broken enough to leave one level technically impossible to complete.
- A key was missing on one level, making it literally impossible to complete.
- Pits were fundamentally broken on every level, meaning they should never have even existed in the first place.
- Lots of strange issues happened with moving entities, where they could - in rare cases - clip through walls and end up where they really should never be.
- The player could get stuck in walls when interacting with or near boxes.
- The game should've really crashed more often because of the way entites were handled, but I guess we've all been lucky.
- Boxes really should've crashed the game every time you pushed them into pits, but the entity finding code was broken enough that the crash never appeared.
Did I mention the issues being glaring?
TL,DR;
- No more FPS dependent camera
- No more buggy boxes
- No more stupid collisions
- No more broken levels
- No more possible crashes
- No more wall-like pits
This is really how the game was supposed to be.
State of the game as of the end of the 48-hour compo
The game is in a fully playable state, though lacking in amount of levels and opcodes.
