The language used to program the car is Arduino. There is two programs that need to be uploaded to the respective Arduino.

The arduino used in the car is an Arduino Mega 2560, while the one used in the controller is an Arduino Uno.

For the code to work in the car as well in the controller there are some libraries that are required:
