Surround sound (5.1, 7.1)

AFAIK Ironwail does not seem to support surround sound at the moment. It would be great if this was available.

Just get yourself a pair of Audio-Technica's. The imaging in them are pretty good for this game. Stereo is more than enough for decent positioning when it comes to Quake.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already have a pair of DT-990s. If headphones are how you prefer to experience the game - that's cool. However, other people may have different preferences and 5.1 isn't expensive or unheard of.
