Fire TV Stick 4K Max - Gemini enters listening mode but no voice is recognized

Hi,

First of all, thank you for developing Headunit Revived. It's an excellent project, and I'm really enjoying using it.

I'm using Headunit Revived on a Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st generation) together with Wireless Helper (automatic connection over a Wi-Fi hotspot).

Everything works surprisingly well:

• Android Auto connects successfully.
• Music playback works correctly.
• Navigation works normally.

The only issue I'm having is with Gemini voice input.

When I say "OK Google" to my Android phone:

• Gemini launches correctly on the Android Auto display.
• Music pauses.
• The screen enters listening mode.

However, Gemini never recognizes any speech after that. It appears to be waiting for microphone input, but nothing is detected.

To troubleshoot, I have tested:

• Headunit Revived 1.14.3
• Headunit Revived 2.3.1-beta1
• Latest alpha version
• Every available Microphone Input Source
• Reinstalling the app
• Clearing app data and cache

The behavior is identical in every version.

I also noticed something that may be related.

On Fire OS, I can grant the microphone permission to Headunit Revived, but after closing the app, the microphone permission is automatically reset to "Not allowed." This happens with every version I tested.

I'm wondering:

• Is Fire TV officially supported for microphone input?
• Has anyone successfully used Bluetooth SCO microphones on Fire TV?
• Is the microphone permission reset a known Fire OS limitation?
• Is there any workaround to make Gemini voice input work on Fire TV?
