📢 Companion integration announcement
If you want to track the battery type and when the battery was last replaced on your non-smart devices I have a new custom integration called Fake Devices which allows you to create devices for things like TV remotes, wall clocks etc. This separate integration can be used for any helper style integrations that add entities to a device as well.
