[BUG] Error creating password using split key in OpenKeyChain: Missing key for encryption: %s**

Hi there,

I have Error creating password using split key in OpenKeyChain.
I generate my keys on the desktop using gpg. On mobile devices I use keys without a primary key (a key that can sign other keys).
As a result, in the password store of the latest version, I can look at previously created passwords, but I cannot create new entries. The program gives an error:

Error from OpenKeyChain : Missing key for encryption: %s

I'm not sure the problem is with OpenKeyChain, because I still have the old version of the password store installed - no problem with it.

I ask you for help in solving the problem, my primary key is also used for other tasks and for security purposes I would not want to store it on smartphones.

This issue seems to have slipped through the cracks, sorry about that. I can't find a lot of information about split GPG keys, but the reason why the old version worked is simply that it did not attempt to know what key your store was set up with and instead asked for a selection to be made in OpenKeychain which confused most users during setup.

I don't quite understand how you have your your PGP keys set up, so I can't attempt to reproduce this issue. If you could use this template to reframe the issue with clear steps for us to replicate your GPG setup, we will be able to attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem.

Also, whatever attachment you made appears to be gone now, so if that was something other than a screenshot of the app's error then I'd appreciate it if you add the image as well when editing the issue.

Using a key without sub-keys works without problems, but I get the same error if I use a GPG key that has sub-keys.

OpenKeychain has no support for it in their API: open-keychain/open-keychain#2697. We'll try to address it in the new PGP backend we're working on.
