The watch face feature uses the Pack native library which is built specifically for inclusion in Androidify.

Whilst there is no need to build this library for the majority of development work on Androidify, this PR includes instructions on how to do it, should anyone have the need to.

Summary of Changes

Hello @garanj, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request enhances the developer documentation by providing explicit instructions on how to build the Pack native library, which is used by the watch face feature in Androidify. While typically not required for standard development, these new guidelines and an accompanying configuration example empower developers who might need to compile the library themselves.

Highlights

  • Documentation for building Pack native library: Added comprehensive instructions to watchface/README.md detailing the process of building the Pack native library, including prerequisites like NDK and Rust, and configuration steps.
  • Example Cargo configuration: Introduced a new example configuration file, watchface/pack-java/.cargo-example/config.toml, to guide users in setting up their Cargo environment for building the native libraries across various Android architectures.

Code Review

This pull request adds documentation and an example configuration for building the native 'Pack' library. The changes are helpful for developers who might need to rebuild these libraries. My review focuses on improving the clarity and correctness of the new instructions. I've suggested a few changes to make the setup process less ambiguous, particularly around file paths and the commands to be executed. This includes correcting a typo, clarifying the working directory for commands, and using a more understandable placeholder for the NDK path in the example config file.
