It is suggested that photos taken by the mapmaker include an overlay with local information, such as latitude, longitude, address, date, and time. It would also be useful to be able to add a company logo.

Hello, thanks for suggesting the idea, could you share a little more about where you would expect this additional information to show?

I'm assuming that within Map Marker, when viewing / editing pictures of a given POI, we don't need the overlay to display latitude / longitude, since that's already available in the POI edit screen?

Would you expect overlay text to be visible on the picture when sharing it outside of Map Marker, or always, even inside of Map Marker?

The idea is to be able to use these photos—with that overlay—externally, for example, in reports or inspection documents. I will attach a photo as an example.

How much of the overlay information do you really need for your use case?

I see the following:

• Logo image
• Title (+ description?)
• Date
• Lat / lng coordinates
• Postal address?
• Bearing at the bottom right

Do you need all of these?

What should happen if the title and description texts are very long? Should they take over the entire photo?
