ThorTune v1.1.0: first public release 🎉
ThorTune bundles two system tweaks for the AYN Thor handheld behind one clean UI: the JamesDSP system-wide audio DSP and display saturation control. On the Thor's dual screens it also puts a live status-and-controls panel on the lower display.
No Magisk, no su. ThorTune drives everything through the Thor's built-in manufacturer root service, so there's nothing to unlock or flash.
Audio: JamesDSP
- One-tap setup: installs the bundled JamesDSP Manager and brings the system-wide engine up
- One-tap import of the recommended preset, ready to activate
- Glitch-free on/off that stays in sync with JamesDSP's own switch and Quick Settings tile
- Re-applies automatically on every boot
- Detects a JamesDSP you've already installed and guides you instead of clobbering it, so two engines never fight over the audio output
Display: Saturation
- Tune colour intensity across both Thor screens (100% stock, 80% recommended)
- Applies instantly and persists across reboots
Lower-screen companion panel
- Live status dashboard with quick controls. Toggle the engine and switch saturation presets right from the bottom display, in sync with the main screen
Install
Download ThorTune_1.1.0_release.apk from the Assets below and install it on your Thor. See the README for setup details.
Compatibility
Built and tested for the AYN Thor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 / kalama). The bundled audio config and the saturation mechanism are specific to that chipset and AYN's firmware; other devices aren't supported.
