Sorry about closing the PR without a note. It went stale on my end and I cleared it out without saying why, which wasn't fair to you after that much work. On the feature itself: I'm going to pass on this version. I keep the base and the plate on the Gridfinity spec so that any bin fits any plate. A 2 or 3mm plate can't hold a standard bin, and I don't want to split things into two kinds of plates. That said, if you can find a way to get more usable height that keeps standard bins fitting standard plates, I'd be happy to look at it. Thanks for the idea and the effort either way. |

It would be nice to have some settings that allows us to have different grid height(default is arround 5 or 7 mm) to maximize the height space used and keept the grid under the bins. I created a PR and I started using that for my own drawars, no issues so far. The only thing that I did not test is the magnet one if is mode than 3mm height.
